The OSAP Program In Oxford In Brief
- OSAP has made it possible for qualified students (with a GPA of 3.0 or higher after two years of university) to study in Oxford for one, two or three terms as an Associate Member of one of eleven Oxford colleges. OSAP works with New College, Trinity College and Christ Church (which requires a GPA of 3.6). All four of these colleges (see Magdalen, Visiting Students only, below) generally rank in the 25% of the Academic League Tables. Five educational tours a term are included.
- OSAP has the lowest fees of any comparable program in Oxford, except for the University of Georgia. For the Winter semester, 2008 (13 weeks), the fees are $17,800 (plus meals).
- Students, if they wish, may receive a transcript from an accredited US university - The University of the Pacific in California, with which OSAP is associated.
- Students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher may apply for Visiting Student status which includes full university privileges at one of two Medieval colleges - New College (1379) and Magdalen College (1458). Magdalen requires a minimum GPA of 3.6. (The fees are substantially higher). The Oxford College always makes the admissions decision
- All tutors are highly qualified and experienced; all are fellows or lecturers of Oxford colleges. None are graduate students.
- Graduate study is possible.
- Laboratory study in the sciences is possible.

- All students live with British students in the center of Oxford.
- Each house has a phone, computer (with wireless broadband internet access throughout the house), TV and video.
- Students study for 12-13 weeks a term (almost a semester) in one-on-one tutorial courses with 14-18 meetings a term. As a result almost any academic subject may be studied.
- OSAP (with related programs) is the largest overseas study program in Oxford with over 400 students last year. OSAP has the largest staff in Oxford, 7 persons who are able to solve problems, etc. quickly. References from U.S. professors and students are available.
