From a College Provost

The Provost of a small Liberal Arts college in New England recently sent this c-mail (quoted with his approval) to an interested student:

"We've been working with OSAP since 1995, and it is my program of choice in England.

They try to get the best teachers they can from all the colleges at Oxford. The tutors who have taught Simon's Rock students have been "attentive" , "serious", "encouraging", "engaging and fun", "awesome" , "encyclopaedic", to mention a few often highly complimentary characterizations I have on file; and if you can imagine 18-19 year olds keeping up a correspondence with their teachers, two of them have! The faculty at SR also think well of OSAP because the tutors write fairly lengthy descriptions of the work a student undertakes, and provide a good sense of that person's development and work.

I mostly know Duncan Hutty through e-mail exchanges and the occasional phone-call, but am bound to say that he and his colleagues have also been very good at looking after our students. (An important factor for me, since they - as juniors -are usually around 18 years old).
